Mega Clinic Company Limited (“Company”) places importance on the protection of personal data under Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 This Privacy Notice has been prepared to inform you of details related to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information through the use of closed circuit television (CCTV) equipment on the Company's premises, as detailed below. This Privacy Notice covers natural persons who enter the Company's premises, which means including the Company's contacts, personnel, customers, business partners, collectively referred to as "personal data owners", "customers", or "you".

Section 1. Purpose of collecting, using, disclosing personal information

The Company collects, uses, and discloses your personal data based on legitimate interests, legal obligations, claims, prevention of harm to life, body or health, achievement of legal objectives, for medical management, social and labor protection, and other bases permitted by the Personal Data Protection Act, in order to achieve the following purposes:
  • To protect the life, body, health or personal property of an individual.
  • To control entry into the Company's premises and to maintain the security of the building, personnel, employees and visitors, as well as the Company's assets and information.
  • To protect/prevent the Company's premises, buildings, areas and assets from damage and other crimes.
  • To assist in resolving civil, criminal and other legal disputes.
  • To comply with legal duties, such as conducting government investigations, cooperating with courts, regulators and law enforcement agencies.
The company will install closed-circuit television (CCTV) at important points within the premises, buildings and various areas of the company, but will not install in some areas such as changing rooms, bathrooms, examination rooms, procedure rooms, etc. The company will have warning signs in places where closed-circuit television (CCTV) is used.
In the event that the Company needs to request personal information from you to enter into or perform a contract or comply with the law, if you do not provide such personal information, the Company may not be able to perform as you request.

Section 2. Personal information collected by the Company

The Company collects personal information directly from you through the CCTV system, including the following personal information:
  • Motion pictures, still pictures, sound, about individuals
  • Motion pictures, still pictures, sound about property, vehicles of individuals

Section 3. Disclosure of your personal information

Government agencies such as the Royal Thai Police, Department of Labor Protection and Welfare, the Court, or any other agency exercising legal authority.
External service providers such as software and information technology system providers, security service providers, management assessors, external auditors, consultants such as legal consultants, etc.
Other external parties such as affiliated companies, customers, business partners, injured persons, etc.

Section 4. Sending or transferring personal information abroad

In the event that personal data must be sent or transferred abroad, the Company will comply with the criteria of the Personal Data Protection Act and take appropriate measures to prevent others from using or disclosing personal data without authority or improperly.

Section 5. Storage and retention period of your personal data

The Company will retain your personal data for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes related to this Privacy Notice. However, the Company may need to retain it further thereafter if required or permitted by law, such as keeping it for no longer than 10 years according to the statute of limitations.

Section 6. How does the Company protect your personal data?

The Company will keep your personal data in good condition in accordance with technical measures and organizational measures to maintain appropriate security of personal data protection and to prevent personal data breaches in accordance with the criteria set by the Personal Data Protection Act.

Article 7. Rights of data owners

  1. Right to revoke consent You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time during the period that your personal data is with the Company. However, withdrawing your consent may affect the consideration of the job, the benefits that you may receive from the Company, or not receiving information that is beneficial to you, etc. For your benefit, you should study and inquire about the impact before withdrawing your consent.
  2. Right to access, receive copies and acknowledge receipt You have the right to access your personal data and request that the Company provide you with a copy of such personal data, including requesting that the Company disclose the source of the personal data in its possession.
  3. Right to transfer personal data You have the right to request your personal data in the event that the Company has prepared such personal data in a format that can be read or used by automatic tools or devices and can use or disclose personal data by automatic means, including the right to request that the Company send or transfer personal data in such format to another personal data controller when it can be done by automatic means, and the right to request personal data that the Company sends or transfers personal data in such format directly to another personal data controller.
  4. Right to object You have the right to object to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal data where it is necessary for legitimate interests or public interest purposes, or for direct marketing purposes, or for scientific, historical or statistical research purposes.
  5. Right to request erasure of personal data You have the right to request that your personal data be erased or destroyed, or that your personal data be anonymized.
  6. The right to request that personal data be suspended You have the right to request a temporary suspension of the use of your personal data in the event that the Company is investigating your request to exercise your right to correct your personal data or to object, or in any other case where the Company no longer needs to delete or destroy your personal data in accordance with relevant laws, but you request the Company to suspend its use instead.
  7. Right to rectify personal data You have the right to request that your personal data be corrected to be accurate, current, complete and not misleading.
  8. Right to Complaint You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission if you believe that the collection, use and/or disclosure of your personal data is in violation of or does not comply with the law.
In the event that you submit a request to exercise your rights under the Personal Data Protection Act, when the Company receives such request, it will take action within the time period prescribed by law. However, the Company may refuse or be unable to take action in accordance with your request to exercise the above rights, for example, the Company must comply with the law or court order for the public interest, the exercise of your rights may infringe the rights or freedoms of other persons, etc., in which case the Company will inform you of the reasons for the refusal.

Section 8. Changes to the Privacy Notice

If there are any changes to this Privacy Notice, the Company will notify you through appropriate channels.
